Embraced by God

Imagine you’re taking a walk when, out of nowhere, someone approaches you and drapes a robe over your shoulders. Picture this from a personal perspective: you’re on a stroll, feeling not looking apart and in transition. However, after walking for a while, simply trying to get things right, when suddenly, people begin to gather around you. They arrive in a horse-drawn carriage, adorned in gold, and proclaim, “You are my beloved. Now, take your place.” Think of this as in the physical.

This all happens without them asking for your name or caring about your past—no one seems to mind what you been through or where you are going. They don’t acknowledge that you were just taking a walk. How would you feel in that moment? Would you pause and question what’s happening? Would you wonder why this is occurring when you were simply enjoying a stroll?

The divine. 1 Peter 2:9: "But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light Walking with God is a profound journey that transforms your entire being. It involves not only taking physical steps alongside Him but also being fully present in your mind and heart. This means approaching Him with a sincere spirit and an open heart, free from distractions and negativity. When you come to Him just as you are, He embraces you spiritually and showers you with blessings that exceed all expectations. The connection between the spiritual and the natural realms is undeniable; what happens in the spirit manifests in our everyday lives. As Romans 8:16 beautifully expresses, “The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God,” affirming our divine identity and relationship with Him.
